I have never been so confused and afraid: what in the hell do you do? And looking into the little guy's eyes - there was nothing there. He snapped out of it eventually. The vet said that dogs' brains aren't studied as much as humans, so he didn't really have any answers. It's frustrating not to be able to communicate through words sometimes. I think it's why I've been petless my entire life: fear of loss and - - what does that grunt mean? Why is she panting? What does that look mean? I'd drive me AND the pet kooky.
