Walking Mabel tonight, after returning from dinner in Manhattan; I was taking photos with my digital camera. I bought three books: Mark Rothko's essays; THE BOOK OF SALT by Monique Truong; and LITERATURE IS FREEDOM by Susan Sontag, which is a publication of a speech she gave in Germany while accepting the Friedenspreis. I am excited about reading these books.
