Despite how tired I was from yesterday's interview and drive, I could not sleep. I tossed around all night and was wide awake at six a.m., although I tried hard to will myself back to sleep. I would think the rain would help. But it just mirrors my mood and makes me feel tired still. But my mind does not rest; it races and jumps, and so sleep is just a wish at this point. Of course, Pomona, Tuna and Mabel are happy that I am awake.
