I am not perfect, nor could I ever claim to be.
I love with my total being.
I try to be good: that is, to be kind, to treat each person
with respect and goodwill.
I turn the other cheek.
I try to help people without expectation of something in return.
I cherish beauty.
I cherish my friends.
I am not afraid of suffering myself, but I am afraid to see others suffer.
I cannot hurt a living thing. I cannot even kill an insect.
If I were a wild animal, I would perish in an instant.
I believe in altruism.
I just want someone who will hold me while I sleep.
