Well, I was going to quip in and add some Useful Advice for the Depressed, but f*ck, I am in no position to offer wisdom. Like you, it is this incessant up-and-down that erodes one's hope. Things go Up and so you think "That's it, I now know how to get rid of this black fog"... but then... it wilts... and you are back where you were before. Only this time slightly more frail, and slightly less hopeful than the last. Good luck from a fellow sailor of stormy seas.
