The summer is coming to an end, evident in the changing light and shorter days. The weather is cooler, the air holds a crisp promise of cold weather to come, and my days change in their rhythm. I attend to scheduling classes at school, to organizing my teaching material, and to figuring out a workable balance among composing, teaching, running a large and vibrant department, and maintaining some time for myself. I feel neutral, neither anxious nor sad. It's more of a calm patience, awaiting what the coming weeks hold for me.

i can't explain why i love the picture here so much
but they fall into my favorites
doors, stairways, windows, chipped paint, warm/worn colors, metals/iron -great shot.
and feeling neutral would be progress for me -the transition into october, the shorter days
always a challenge.
glad to read here: "crisp promise" "workable balance" "vibrant department" and "time for myself"
whatever the coming weeks do bring you, i trust will be wonderful
love, ~s.
Great picture indeed! ;)
I will be looking forward to your next post. Thank you
