home
Patsy is home, shaved belly and all. She is eagerly sniffing all around the place. She does not seem traumatized, although going home in the intense cold must have been a little weird. Mabel is quite concerned and keeps following her around, tail wagging, making little cries. I wonder what they mean? She appears to be concerned, but Patsy seems fine. I hope she won't run around and jump too much.

Oooohhh, the babies...the other day my friend's dog, Kade, had a seizure. I have never been so confused and afraid: what in the hell do you do? And looking into the little guy's eyes - there was nothing there. He snapped out of it eventually. The vet said that dogs' brains aren't studied as much as humans, so he didn't really have any answers. It's frustrating not to be able to communicate through words sometimes. I think it's why I've been petless my entire life: fear of loss and - - what does that grunt mean? Why is she panting? What does that look mean? I'd drive me AND the pet kooky. Well wishes!
